Nut crackers



Nut Crackers
  • 2c nuts of your choice
  • 1tsp of rosemary/thyme/sage
  • 1Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1 egg


Method


Pre-heat the oven to 180C/350F
Put everything into a food processor or blender and grind until a sticky paste
Line your baking tray with a sheet of parchment paper
Cover with another piece of parchment paper and roll out until 1/4" or 1cm thick
Remove the top piece and press extra, roughly chopped nuts into the surface
Bake for 15 minutes
When removed from oven snip additional bits of fresh herbs overtop and cut into whatever shapes you like
Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to a week
